This beautiful golden rose was flowering in our garden but seeing as it is windy and raining I brought the rose indoors and placed it in a crystal vase with some tap water.
I was listening to the lunchtime North West news, and it is not good news that Lake Windermere is more polluted now than a year ago. We are so blessed to live in a time when there is still splendid beauty all around us. A few more Green MPs would make a difference, but really it is a huge task that requires all of us who are caring of the environment and the planet, to work hard to stop mindless pollution, and the causes, because the wildlife needs to thrive and not be ruined. God made so many amazing life forms and sentient beings. I was delighted to see a rainbow earlier.
Take care if your paths have slippery wet leaves. I walk very slowly and with mindfulness.
