Fallen leaves

I spent time trying to proof-read my Europe by van trip as there’s a Blurb offer on.

Mr C was out clearing the drain in the woods to try to prevent more blockages on our property.

It was U3A art appreciation this afternoon which was really enjoyable and interesting. We had Jill Harrison from the OU talking about trecento art in Siena with particular reference to trade and textiles. Some of those early paintings were exquisite and secular too. She and others are responsible for a project called “Reviving the Trinity - new perspectives on the Scottish Renaissance” which sounds fascinating.

Chris is coming over for risotto tonight so I’m going to get on with it - a Jamie Spiced Butternut Squash one.

Mr C told me the maple in the garden had cast its leaves and would make a good blip, and here it is.
