Fungi

A bit blustery this morning but nothing untoward.  Started dog walking when dry then rain began.  Temperature has been pretty mild.  

Phoned on WhatsApp an old family friend in Cyprus who's known me since I was very little.  She was our junior school secretary when we lived in Cyprus and I was 5 years old.  As a teenager I babysat her daughter and we've kept in touch now that she's in her 80s.  Her mind is very agile and she keeps in touch with everyone using her phone and computer.  
She's the only one I know who remembers the people and places that meant a lot to us.   And we can share those memories. 

Caught up with some household chores whike it was raining.

Headed out for a second dog walk in the rain as it wasn't going to let up.   The wind was picking up but being out did me good and we didn't get that wet.

Noticing so many different fungi in various grassy spots.  

Heard horrible accounts of frightening storm damage in Jersey.  Hope those on the south coast have escaped the worst.
