TV Dinner Selfie

After a 'crashing' night - goodness knows how we slept through it - we woke up to relative calm. Big waves, damp and grey, but Cieràn had moved on - to wreak havoc in the Channel Islands, with Jersey worst hit. The local impact wasn't as bad as feared.

Today's yellow alert was thankfully a false alarm in Bournemouth. A few trees down, and pockets of flooding.

This morning had a couple of clothes hooks and a fire blanket put up - and a cupboard secured to the wall. Been waiting for ages for someone to come and do.

Later we went to search of an A3 Tallon calendar (been using them for years). Can buy online, but was an excuse to get some fresh air! Tried in Winton first, found one in Westbourne. Success!

Just saw some of the Rishi /Elon* interview, on Sky News (*he's here for the UK 'AI' Safety Summit). Fascinating - and disconcerting - to hear a laid back Elon, talking about how fast AI is progressing and how we will be impacted.
