Friday: More Rain

Rain off and on all morning but we had a few hours either side of lunchtime when I was able to get some washing dried outdoors :-)

Also managed to reach some of the Solanum - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1972658 - which had grown through the twisted hazel. Last week, before MrD and I cut back the hazel poles, I’d given the solanum a cut too but the branches were caught in the high branches of the twisted hazel, today I was able to get at them and add them to the green bin!

Did a little bit of family history but it’s a complicated bit of tree … have to leave it for now and refer to my Welsh family tree book …

Looked at my watch, it was almost 4pm and I hadn’t put any food out for the hedgehogs, someone wasn’t happy but all was ok when they were able to crunch their meal :-)
