Teuchters Landing, Leith
We bought our tickets to see Young Fathers, playing in Edinburgh tomorrow evening, quite some time ago, and long before we knew the miniMinx would be performing in London, last night. Hence, today we had quite a drive ahead of us.
Not that either of us minded. We set off around seven-thirty, and for the most part we followed the A1, diverting off to Sheffield to meet Abi for a coffee between lectures, which was a treat.
We set off early partly to ensure that made it out of London quite quickly, which we did, but also we could do the whole journey on the light. And it was a beautiful trip, especially once we were north of Leeds.
And once we'd checked into our hotel in Leith, we walked out to one of the pubs that I visited with Ash and Bob on our last trip, Teuchters Landing. It's a cracking pub, and the food was excellent. Would recommend!
Incidentally, those green dots that sometimes appear in photos are due to there being a strong light source. In this case, I think they work rather nicely.
