Sharon's Swapshop

A lovely calm day, some bright spells, some cloud and then showers this evening.  Calm all day.  Another amazing display of Northern Lights, which I've missed again.  

Slept well this morning, finally got out walkies and popped by Madeline's.  Picked friend Julie up in the afternoon, and we headed out west for Sunday Teas, where we met Big Brian and Madeline.  A walk with the dogs after.  It was to be a quiet evening at home, but me and Julie went out looking for the Northern Lights, no joy.  Off to bed early. 

An amazing turnout at the Teas today, there was also Sharon's Swapshop.  Sharon Deyell has organised the event for about ten years, where people clear out their old unwanted clothes and then they sell it off to raise money for charities, Clan was the charity this year.  The place was packed, plenty of happy shoppers out grabbing some bargains.  We arrived two hours in, and they announced that they reached over £6,000 by then, over £10,000 in total.  A busy hall full of shoppers, Aith, Aithsting.
