Saturday: Hallway in Graz

We are in Graz in Austria for the weekend, visiting a very old friend of mine who lives here.  Anne-Christine and I met in a youth hostel in Salzburg in 1987 when she was 16 and I was 18 and we have been friends ever since.  It's been a long time since we actually saw each other so it's been great to catch up, particularly as we are now just two and a half hours down the road.

We have had a great walk around Graz - Anne-Christine is a great guide and has a wonderful way of sharing her knowledge.  Such as finding this little gem above in one of the old Palais that are all over town when we actually did a little bit of trespassing........shhhh, don't tell anyone!
