In Seymour Square….seeking the shade…

……. on a hot afternoon. The day has passed by in a whirl of activity. Daughter M and Grand-daughter E arrived here last night. They are here for a few days and I am treasuring their presence. We walked to the annual “Garden Marlborough” garden fete at Pollard Park this morning. Colorful, crowded, sensory overload at the range of stalls and goods… a marvelous day for Marlborough. We walked into town for lunch at a favourite cafe “Ritual “. Walked home seeking shade as we walked. It was hot. There will be lots of sunburnt bodies around. So at the end of a very busy day…. Bed is looking very inviting.
