The Hermitage of Braid

A very frosty morning. A little bit of ice on a morning daunder around the park. There is one slope that is rather dicey, but manage not to end up on the ground. After coffee, I do some photo editing.

After lunch we need get something for tea, which we forgot to get on Saturday. We decide to walk through the Hermitage of Braid, a local nature reserve, so not only can we get the essential filo pastry and a new toaster. The Hermitage of Braid is where the big trees grow in Edinburgh, see Extra. There are greens, yellows and oranges not only on the trees but on falling leaves. The main blip shows the last footbridge over the Braid Burn on the trail that follows the burn at the east end of the reserve.
