Still Life with mixed fruit

This still life started out using just apples from the garden then, like Topsy, it grew and grew.
 
Well, the bombshell of the day is David Cameron’s return to the Cabinet. I heard the news in the swimming pool this morning. None of us could believe it but the purveyor of this political bombshell assured us it was correct. And so it turned out to be. 
 
I wonder if any Blippers use the Press Reader app? I have been assured by our local library that its possible to access it for free but have yet to succeed.
