We went to visit my sister, on a day of strong winds and squally showers. Driving up in the morning, the popular tourist village of Bibury was unusually quiet, but we were running late so we kept going. I decided to stop there for a quick photo on the way back in the afternoon. This row of cottages is one of the most often photographed sights in Bibury. For many years, the view was spoiled by a resident's bright yellow car, often parked outside his house (as is his right, of course), but it wasn't there today!
