Had to cross the road

After work walk in local streets as I needed a bit of fresh air and exercise. This bird is a hybrid; mallard dominant but Parera (Grey Duck is there as well. Mallard beaks are orange/yellow; those of the Parera are slate grey. Parera have a narrower white band to the speculum than do the Mallard. A second facial line is a Parera trait not seen in pure mallards.

The extra is the flowers of a roadside tree. Rather pretty.
