Back to the vet

She really isn’t well, and isn’t eating (unheard of). The urine they took while she was under the anaesthetic has revealed a UTI. So they were able to prescribe the exact targeted antibiotics for that. And she is still pretty low and lethargic, so she’s getting some very attentive nursing from me.  They were very kind at the Oxfam shop and said it was ok for me to do a half shift i .e. 2 hours, so I popped over to quickly sort all the fiction donations, and was back by 4 to give her a  painkiller. I really hope she has a few of her 9 lives left.
On the positive side, I like the Virginia creeper growing on the upper floor at the vets. If you squint, I think you can see a friendly face. Also they were happy at Oxfam as we made a record amount on fiction books last week. They were very pleased with me, though of course it’s down to the quality of the donations, which have been fantastic recently.
