Frangipanni

This frangipanni, its blooms a not-so-ordinary fruit salad colour, is growing in a pot in our small front yard. The Resident Gardener rescued it from the street. Can you imagine anyone throwing it out?

It's just putting out its first blooms of the season and what a pleasure they are. Nothing says Sydney summer like the scent of a frangi (other than the overwhelming heat). This one is, at the time of snapping, in full sun with the house in shadow as background.
