Most electricity substations around here are small red brick affairs, no longer in use, a few converted to housing or lunch bars. Beaconsfield’s is huge, as are its neighbouring industries on Burrows Rd - paper recycling plants, concrete suppliers, glass manufacturers and scrap metal dealers. Yulli’s Brewery is a small exception.
