The last leaves

Another dismal day with drizzle on and off.
These leaves of Virginia creeper in our garden have been lovely colours but not many left now! The streets around us are filled with so many leaves which seem brighter yellows than previous  years eg tulip tree and ginkgos , plus lots of lovely light coloured maples both yellow and red.

I took the grandchildren swimming this morning. They have made progress since I last saw them. It’s one teacher to 3 children so lots of individual attention.

We had the family to lunch and while I was doing the swimming trip my husband cooked roast pork with all the trimmings, delicious.
