Our first Christmas card!

A slow start this morning as it was so gloomy and raining. We went for a lovely lunch with a group of my husbands ex colleagues in Clandon. I had two of my favourites…moules with lovely little frites and affogato with a generous amount of Amaretto liqueur! 

Traffic on the A3 not good and we saw the new road going into and out of Wisley. It will take longer for us to get home than at present! I see the RHS is offering a big discount on new memberships…I think they have lost lots of member s and revenue while the A 3 works are going on. It will be a nightmare for those people going to the ‘Glow’ this year. We won’t be going…going to Kew instead.

This is our first,  very early,  Christmas card from one of our friends we had lunch with! I still need to buy some.

Off to our allotments AGM this evening.
