Sinking Sun

Sinking sun at 15:54. It seems so early. I really wish we could leave the clocks on BST.

Popped over to see my friend Clare for a cuppa just after talking this photo. Took some bits for her AirBnB… earl grey tea sachets and tourist leaflets I picked up in Canterbury at the weekend.

Lots of rain earlier and her garden had a mini lake on the lawn. The hens looked a bit bedraggled too.

Horrible weather with rain lashing down and the wind whipping up by the time I left so I decided to skip the drive to the pool this evening. Really missed the swim but there’s so many falling trees down the narrow country lanes it’s not worth the risk when the wind gets up.
