I slept in very late today. We all enjoyed a lazy day. My sister and BIL had the house all decorated for Christmas. You may get to see part of it later during our stay. Oh the birds. They entertained us most of the day. There were so many varieties. This woody cautiously edged toward the feeder until he reached a bit of food on the railing. I think they like lady bugs. They often wake me pecking on the house in the morning. I am sure all that noise can be heard around the property. Hubby read most of the day. The others were in and out. We all enjoyed the fireplace and a nice bowl of chili or asparagus soup at lunch. It felt good to simply rest. Our BIL is cooking a fish fry for dinner. I have responsibility for the scalloped potatoes and super salad sides. So, day one has been wonderful. Hope your Monday was as well. Stay safe.
