Veterans Day
The Rugby Club put on a Veterans Day today, it started with a cooked breakfast for which I was joined by Paddy amongst others as Mrs S and Sam were away for the day crafting.
After a thoroughly enjoyable hour or so over my full English with friend Steve I headed home for an hour or two to give Paddy a break.
Back up in time for kick off it was a good game to watch, tough going for the lads playing top of the table Plymouth Albion Oaks but we had no difficulty in picking the inaugural Veterans Player Of The Match, scrum half Tom Townsend.
We then got down to four hours of enjoying each others company over a a £6 Pasty & Pint deal, accompanied by a lot more than the single pint that came with the pasty.
