Today was the day !

Luckily I popped outside to try and grab a photo of a cabbage white butterfly that had flown into the garden when I could hear lots of chirping away from the nest box.Yes, today was the day that my little bluetits fledged from the nest.I seem to have been waiting ages.They must have just left as the two little ones were on the branches just below the box.I could only see the two and did nt want to get any closer in case I scared them so not sure if there are any more.
The Great spotted woodpecker has also fledged and was in the garden being fed by its parent late last night.The parent has been back but the baby has stayed in the trees.
