What a difference a day makes

Mikes back is much better today so he managed to mow the lawn. We've booked a fortnight away to Orkney so really looking forward to that. We go on Saturday !

A really hot day so just pottered around, Cleaned the wheelie bin, baked some cakes, one egg had a double yolk, Hovered and dusted and planted some fuchsias we got free from the AA (except for postage).

The evening was so lovely that we went down to the beach for a walk. The sands had shifted yet again and 'the face rock' just had it's forehead and nose showing. Lots of other rocks had been revealed. It was still warm enough just to wear a T-shirt and crop trousers. The caravan Park looked really busy, a group of teachers , we think, were enjoying a BBQ and two people were out in canoes.

Time to start planning our Orkney adventure :)
