Cloudy and gray

Is not the best day for taking photos of wildlife on a pond.  These turtles and anhinga were sharing a log for a little warmth in the barely there sun shine.   

Not great shots as I grabbed the SX60 which is not the best camera for walking and trying to shoot without a tripod.  Too much moving as I breathe!  So I played around with some b/w filters. This is what we get today.

 Used the same camera yesterday on the mergansers and the same thing happened. I added the best of the duck and also my favorite frog photo.  He was really looking at me!

 I really need to get back to using my good camera.    An early New Year's resolution.
