Crown and Coronation

Mr C booked for us to see a light show at The Tower of London to celebrate the Kings coronation.

We went up during the afternoon and had a look around Borough Market but it was heaving.  We might venture back before Christmas to have a good look around.  We stopped for a pub late lunch/early dinner and then strolled along the Thames path past HMS Belfast and upto Tower Bridge.  Lots of huts along the path selling Christmas bits or street food.

We were too early for our time slot so we warmed up in Starbucks (I forgot to mention that it was really cold).  Once in we could wander around at our leisure and also had an opportunity to see the Crown Jewels.  It was good but we were not sure it was worth the ticket price and we got discount with our Palaces pass.
