Zebu carts

Last night after I blipped Hery told us the flights were changed again and now we didn’t need to leave the beach till 8am. Those of us not afflicted with gut problems celebrated with a G&T. Our stay there had been magical.

The speedboat arrived and we waded out to it for the 1 hour ride up the coast to Toliara where the zebu carts arrived to transport us up to the steps. They had to come quite a long way out and the water was deep. A very old bus took us to the hotel where our luggage was stored. We quickly sorted out our bags for the flight back to Antananarivo and the bus dropped us off at the tiny airport.

Our plane was late arriving so it was a hot few hours waiting. The flight was 1.25 hours. I think the pilot was on work experience as he came in very fast and bounced a bit on landing, then flung us about from side to side.

Hery2 and Fidel were waiting with the bus and took us to the same hotel as we had for our first night here. We’ll stay 2 more nights to see the sights of the capital before our return via Niarobi and Paris.

I wonder if the snow is still around?
