Another mild day
We got out while it was sunny and mild this morning to have a 4.5 mile walk around the moor. The only people we met were two women we knew, walking separately. Diane goes out every day and Julie was on her last day of 200 miles in November for Prostate cancer which her husband died of a couple of years ago. I must remember to sort some money for her.
When we got back we had time for a sandwich before driving to Byker to
meet #3 daughter for Ella and Nathaniel’s drama school show. It was singing and dancing with all the classes from about years 1 and 2 up to years 9 and 10 appearing in their age groups but all performing routines based on Peter Pan. It was so professional with the older ones performing complex routines. It’s so good for confidence. Ella is more poised and thoughtful whereas Nathaniel is expressive but they both enjoy it in their own way. They have to do it again next Saturday as it’s for an exam. Ella was with Year 7 and 8 and Nathaniel with Years 5 and 6. No photos allowed.
We said goodbye in the car park as they were going for a sleepover with friends. I hope we can see them before they go to South Africa on 14th but it seems when they are free we have Jo visiting from Cornwall.
Here’s Mr C on the home straight of our walk.
Ps ages ago a Blipper recommended a children’s book about Greek gods and I thought I’d kept a note of it. Apparently not. If anyone knows please tell me.
