Frosty Start to December

A hard frost this morning and cloudy.  The clouds passed, and a beautiful calm sunny day.  The odd winter shower in the hills.  Frosty, clear and calm tonight, Northern Lights too. 

Up early, popped by Madeline's on out morning walkies.  Nipped along mam on my way to work.  Last late shift of the week, and a busy day in the airport.  All flights in and out on time.  I've mostly been meeting and boarding flights.  Walkies with Sammy, then a quick pint before feet up for the night. 

The perfect start to December, a proper winter's day, cold, crisp and calm.  Looking like we'll have a few more days like this.  It really would make a wonderful winter if this was the norm, maybe some deep snow on the hills too.  Even though it was -1 or so, you can put up with that when there's no wind.  A peaceful view when the clouds were breaking up, Prince Olav Slip, Main Street, Scalloway.
