River Dee

Today's the day .................... to be still

Such a still day today - not a breath of wind anywhere when I went a walk along the banks of the River Dee today.

But there's not a lot of daylight around these winter days, so you have to be quick to take a photograph before the light fails.  This is the other half of the railway viaduct that used to carry the line from Castle Douglas over the river towards the end of the line at Kirkcudbright station.

The bit on the other side of the Dee, is in our garden ......................
