Christmas Card

Today's the day ....................... to get mail

We had our first two Christmas cards in the post this morning.

There's no doubt though, that with postal costs at an all time high - and the many other ways that you can communicate these days - sending Christmas cards is likely to become a thing of the past.  But, not in this house - or, at least, not for a while yet!

We usually choose one of Will's paintings and make it into our card and as we sit and write them, we're thinking of whoever it's going to.  It's almost like spending a few minutes actually with them.  The two cards that came today, both contained a short note about how the senders were - and what had been happening over the past year.  It's always good to hear from friends, especially if you haven't seen them for a while.

There's just something a bit special about getting (and sending) a card ...................!
