A new reindeer

We have been to our friends farm in Dorset and this evening went round the Christmas lights trail. This is the fourth year they have done it and every year they change it plus buy some new items. This is the latest acquisition…a reindeer that they got second hand…probably used in a shopping centre or something last year! They also have 4 real reindeers which people can look at and feed. This morning I helped fill about 100 cups with the special moss imported from Finland which they sell for people to feed the reindeer and the proceeds goes to the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance service ( As my friend and her late husband both benefited from the service!).
It’s quite low key compared to say Kew but very nice with much more reasonably priced catering in a barn and also a very nice Father Christmas experience.

Earlier we met my brother and his wife in a nearby pub and they came to view the trail too.

The rain has started…very heavy already and because of the forecast of high winds and lots of storms some of the schools in Dorset are going to be closed tomorrow.
