When we frequented Edinburgh; we enjoyed the Farmers Markets on Saturdays and normally selected a Buffalo Burger for munching at lunch.

Buffalo Burgers disappeared from the menu... and the Market lost its appeal slightly for us.

We had taken to watching "This Farming Life" and were delighted to see "The Buffalo Farm featured and so we made plans to order and visit.

today was our day.  We got up pretty sharp and headed off. The weather was awful, so we drove slowly and carefully.

Crossing the bridges always takes us back and driving over to Fife brought back a raft of memories.  We indulged ourselves for a while remembering the good times, for there were many not-so-good times in Fife too.

We reached Kirkcaldy and found our way around the side and headed along the road to the farm

It was still pouring with rain and we ran from the very busy car park into the farm shop and enjoyed having a browse around and tasting the samples.

Once we had decided on our purchases and paid, we headed to the Bothy.   How lovely was that.    I enjoyed a Blackpudding, Mozzerella and Apple Toastie, and Himself had a steak sandwich.

We also had a coffee with Buffalo milk froth.

The Farmer,  the farmers wife and their Children were sat at the table next to us, having their lunch.  If that isn't  an advert for the place  what is?

We were going to go into  Edinburgh, but sadly the Buffallo milk didn't agree with my internals  and I had a bit of a pain.

But I'm okay now.
