175th Year of Cheshire Show

The Cheshire Agricultural Show is celebrating its 175th anniversary as it opened in Tabley today. Based at the Tabley showground, more than 80,000 people are expected to attend over the next two days.
Large equestrian section, farm livestock classes, dog shows, flowers, a superb food hall, cheese, crafts, shoppers mews and country pursuits, lots of big toys for the boys.

Todays blip is the Fentimans Dray Horse having a tear up around one of the show rings before bringing them to a halt for judging.
Fentimans are famous for its botanical brews including Dandelion and Burdock, Victorian Lemonade and Ginger Beer. I like D&B but Fentimans version tastes far too much danelion for me.
The brewery started making botanical brews in 1905, working Shire horses pulled the carts delivering drinks door-to-door, they are big supporters and share a strong sense of heritage with the Shire Horse Society and a desire to preserve this important tradition.
Far too many blips to pick from but this one was a bit different from calfs and piglets
