Red sky in the morning

I was awake around 5 am, I thought about getting up and going out for sunrise photos. Then I fell asleep again and it was after 7 when I woke up. I should have gotten up at 5 because this is what I saw when I looked out the window just after 7 am.
The clouds moved in later and the fog rolled in late this afternoon. The temperature this afternoon was +8 C, so the snow is melting. There is a wind warning for tomorrow, gusts 80 - 100 km/hour. It's a southerly wind though and it is bringing warm temperatures with it, predicted highs tomorrow are in the low teens. Hopefully enough of the snow will melt so we can get that garden cleanup done this week.
After brunch today I went for a walk on the Dartmouth Harbourfront Trail. There is one section where someone has put some birdfeeders out, so there were lots of goldfinches, chickadees, sparrows, a few morning doves and I saw the female cardinal.
Here at home, the blue jays were around, the chickadees flit in and out, a morning dove sits on the railing, the squirrel was hanging out in the feeder and my pine warbler was around today. I had to stop any buy more suet since the raccoons came back last night and tossed the suet feeder down onto the ground and ate all of it. All of the feeders are inside tonight.
