White throated sparrow

It was a messy mix of snow, rain and freezing drizzle today so I stayed home. The sparrows, chickadees, juncos, blue jays and a woodpecker were around the feeders off and on today. A huge flock of starlings passed thru, a couple of them stopped for a few bites of suet, but they didn't stay, they kept on going, thank goodness.
I started another jigsaw puzzle this morning, then spent the afternoon sorting thru the remaining plastic bins that were in the living room. Two of them had Christmas things in them. I used to collect snowmen, so I put them on display.
One bin had a lot of school work belonging to my son that I had saved. I kept a few things and tossed the rest. Why did this stuff survive 35 years and 10 moves? Now that my son refuses to talk to me, he will never want it, he likely doesn't even remember me saving any of it.
I did find a couple of old photo albums in that box. Several photos with Mom and Dad in them. Some from a high school trip to Paris and Switzerland. A few from a UN thing that a friend and I went to one summer at Mt Allison University. There was one of myself and 2 cousins. I used my phone to take a picture of it and sent it to one of the cousins in the photo.
It's slowly coming together. I now have a blank wall in the living room but I still have a couple of shelves to hang and several pictures, so it won't be blank for very long.
