Dreaming of Mud

A day catching up - with cleaning, washing, dog walking and Christmas card writing.

It’s been glorious weather today. Merlin and I spent time appreciating the sunshine whilst wading through the water and mud that is currently ‘the meadow’. Much to his dislike Merlin required a thorough cleaning before being allowed back into the house. He is now curled up in a ball dreaming - perhaps of running in the mud again.

Meanwhile Andy has seen a specialist about his injured knee and attended a funeral of an elderly ex-work colleague.

Gratefuls:
- To have this day to complete some much needed tasks.
- For the diagnosis of the problem with Andy’s painful knee - a torn cartilage requiring an operation to be cut out.
- For our advent calendar of teas. Today’s sample was of a green tea with caramelised almonds.
