A trip to the pantomime

The day started with a FaceTime planning meeting for the Community Lunch just to make sure that we had all the food organised. After that I spent some time writing more Christmas cards. The job seems never-ending but this year I have made it so much easier by printing address labels for the envelopes. In the evening my SiL and I had our “annual” outing to the local panto in Tobermory. Although I describe it as an annual outing, we haven’t actually been for the past three years. In 2020 and 2021 there was no panto due to Covid and last year we chickened out because of snow and ice on the road. But this year we made it and what an evening of entertainment from so many talented local folks. The show was Mother Goose with lots of jokes based on local people and events written into it.it was hilarious! When we came out I bagged my blip for today. The simple white Christmas lights all along the Main Street were beautiful and were enhanced by many houses having their own decorations.
