Siskin

I spotted this little bird on the fat ball feeder alongside the bluetit, and I wasn’t quite sure what it was. I didn’t think it was a greenfinch, so I looked it up and decided it was a female siskin. I uploaded three photos to iNaturalist and within a couple of minutes someone confirmed it as a siskin, which really pleased me. I’ve put the two other shots in extras.

I confess I’m quite excited because I have never knowingly seen a siskin before!
