Next books on the pile

Not a very distinguished shot today, just an instant in the day really. This shot summarises my current reading phase - which I have been in for some years. I rarely read a novel or fiction generally, preferring travel writing, factual, railway related and historical and geographical books - perhaps as a result of my professional bent as a geographer! I often get my books from the bibliography of other books or, as in this case, from a TV programme - which one, I can't remember at the moment. Then onto the on-line library catalogue, search for the book, reserve and have it delivered to my local library.

Despite the average blip, today was another busy day - at the school where I am a governor until 2.00pm doing a visit, then to the allotment and the library, followed by some work on the report of the visit for the next Governors Meeting in July.
