Tomb with a view

Our Christmas Eve service is this afternoon so I took the opportunity to go out with the Sunday runners. Although they start early there's usually not really time before church, and certainly not to go for a second breakfast after.
It was a beautiful morning, a cold wind making it feel much cooler than the 9C the thermometer said. Just as we were about to start someone noticed the nacreous clouds (extra) which looked quite different from the sunrise ones a couple of days ago.
We ran up the hill to the observatory, (group pic in extras - might as well use them!), round the cemetery and back for breakfast.
I think we're about sorted for the next few days, it'll be Boxing Day before I post again.
