Dubai

I’m sorry to say that we didn’t like Dubai at all. A traffic nightmare, extremely poor air quality, everywhere so crowded. Its main claim to fame is that it has the biggest, tallest, most expensive anything you can think of. Conspicuous consumption out of control! This photo of sunset is taken from the 124th floor of the (current) tallest building in the world, but it wasn’t worth the long wait for lifts up and down, or the scrum of people everywhere.
