I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

Until now. I've found a rose garden and it has some stunning blooms. I think enough for the next few days at least. I hope you enjoy this great big Whoosh of a Rose.

Last night the temperature fell to 26°C. That's hot. I got up at 6 and it was hot. On the way to work at 7, it was hot. Still, I felt relatively comfortable in my sandals without socks and t-shirt.

And then the sun disappeared.

A thousand clouds appeared and at lunchtime, while we were over at the canteen, the skies opened. There was a bit of lightning too. The temperature plummeted to 19°C. I got slightly damp going back to my office.

45 minutes later and everything was dry again. And the temperature climbed back to 29. After yesterday, that feels quite OK.

To celebrate Thursday, we met the QSM and went for dinner. Sitting outside and surrounded by sweet smelling plants. It was a great end to the day.
