Today's the day ........................ to reflect

I seem to feel the need to post a picture of the two of us on the last day of the year?!  It usually results in lots of technical problems if I use my camera - so here is an alternative.  It just involves finding one of those big roadside mirrors that help traffic to exit from a difficult corner.  Then you stand in front of it (in the middle of the road), smile - and there you have it.  Of course, it is a reflected image and slightly distorted - but you'll get the general idea of how we are at the start of the New Year.

And, this last year has been a good year for us.  We have well and truly celebrated our 50th year of marriage - and enjoyed many special times with family and friends.  We've taken on a few new challenges which will keep us interested and absorbed for a while yet.

So, I wish you Happy New Year, (when the time comes) and hope that 2024 will be a year to celebrate many more good things - but in particular, good health and peace for everyone.  And, because I have just one extra photo remaining - I give you Mr Pheasant, or more likely Mr Pheasant's prodigal son, who has returned to us in the past few days - and made us very happy ....................!
