Ladybird Lake

One of our favourite things to do on our Austin visits is to walk along both sides of Ladybird Lake crossing two of the pedestrian bridges in the process. We chose the 3 mile route with the 2 dogs meeting many others on the way . The wide path is very popular with walkers, cyclists and joggers as well as dog walkers and on the way we stopped for the blip photo shoot with our daughter in law and Romulus happily wearing his Texas Longhorns jacket.

The extra was taken a bit further on the walk as we crossed one of the bridges with the closer views of Downtown Austin. The Colorado river of which the lake and several other lakes is a part meanders its way through Austin .

Only a few days left before we return home and back to a different climate in Scotland.
