A new year dawns

Happy new year one and all!

D and I were up early(ish) today to greet the sun. We didn't actually see it, but had a lovely, quiet walk before the world was awake.

It has been a productive day today, odd jobs including belatedly icing my  Christmas cake, and playing board games. I'm feeling all full of energy and positive that this year will go well for me.
