Derelict Croft Hoose; 10 Years On
More gales, more rain and dullness.
After a mad day yesterday, I slept well last night, a tad too long. Finally got up, and a morning around the house. Headed out walkies, it was cold and wet. Met mam for lunch, also Bruce Cheyney. Sadly the Peerie Shop café was disappointing, used to be so good. Popped along friends. Walkies again this afternoon, popped by Madeline's too. Working in the shop this evening, a quiet shift. Looking like a quiet night ahead.
With a new year, I'll continue with my 10 year on project, as and when I can. Today there was an opportunity, and went for it. This old croft house has been derelict for many years, but still standing and still doing reasonably well. Sadly the door has long gone, windows frames too, and roof starting to get into a bad way. Considering the gales we've had, and new builds having damage, this shows how well they used to build houses. Taken at East Hall, Sandsound, Tresta.
