Different angle of my neighbor’s pansies

We did not have the massive storm that the news was hyperventilating about. I did see a couple of inches of patch of snow in the crevice of a tree but that was it. Otherwise it was just a lot of rain, which was sad, because I wanted to go off and take pictures in the morning before it started. 

I did put the tree away. It took one minute to take down the tree, one minute to put it in a bag, and one minute to carry it to the garage. 

I exercised. 

Otherwise I kinda did nothing. 

It is the three year anniversary of the coup attempt. It is so hard to believe it happened, here, in the US. I remember the warnings that it will be wild. I remember the warnings to stay out of town. I remember I didn’t feel well and I let my boss know I was leaving “work” and went upstairs and fell asleep on the couch and woke up to see people on TV breaking into the Capitol. Surreal. Insane. But there, on TV, for all of us to see, and it was not mild mannered tourists walking around and it is so weird to have people outright lie and pretend it was when the evidence is right there, on video. The lying, with video evidence? 

Article in the WSJ: Jeffrey Hall, U of Kansas, reports that it takes 40-60 hours together for an acquaintance to become a casual friend and a total of about 200 hours to become close friends. 

Ukraine is jamming Russian drones at the Dnipro River. It is preventing the Russians from making progress. Ukraine’s drones are working. Russia’s drones typically can’t get off the ground. 

One of Ukraine’s strikes in Crimea on Friday successfully destroyed a Russian air base. Newsweek hasn’t verified the number of explosions but local media reported up to 10 overnight. 

Ukraine conducted a cross-border raid on Russia’s Belgorod region, a spot they’ve both hit for real and been accused of hitting when Russia accidentally hit it. They filmed it. 

Russia has an air defense system called Buk. To me it looks like Frankenstein. The bottom half looks like one thing and the top looks like something different attached. It is supposed to be able to simultaneously engage 24 targets. Anyway, Ukraine has video of them hitting three of them.
