Snowdrops

Today's the day ........................ to go out looking

Inspired by the flowers I found yesterday - and encouraged by those that you all mentioned, Will and I went to our local 'Snowdrop' Wood this morning, to see what was occurring there.

And, blow me, there they were - a host of pendulous white pearls, already showing themselves in vast numbers.  It was such a lovely sight and it filled us both with joy to see it.

Surely, this is early for snowdrops?  Or have I just never really gone out looking for them this early in the year .......................?
