Sunday: Frosty Morning

In fact the temperature didn’t reach 5°C here all day, but it was very sunny and dry.

After breakfast MrD went on a walk up the hill and through the forest on our local mountain (just a hill really but the highest spot locally).

I had a leisurely breakfast then decided to look through the stored Bramley apples - a few had deteriorated so I chopped them up and put them out for the birds.

Picked a few leaves of wild sea cabbage which were sliced thinly and added to grated carrots and very thinly sliced red onion mixed with Hellman’s mayonnaise to make a quick and delicious fresh coleslaw that MrD had fancied with his corned beef and mashed potatoes, must remember this quick and simple recipe in the future!

Watched the remaining episodes of “Fool Me Once” which had an awful lot of action …
