DAY ONE (Brisbane)

Arrived in Brisbane about 5pm. The fastest security and baggage claim ever. A very swift taxi through tunnel network emerging right in the city centre. Brilliant.

We’re in a very good spot, right in central city, and we’ve made ourselves at home. It’s an ‘apartment’ with balcony, washing machine, gym, etc.

We had a wee dander out to get some sushi for tea, but at 9pm, their kitchens were just closed. So we came back to the hotel cafe, where one of us had a very healthy snack…
